SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On Dec. 6, 2018, officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 34-year-old Darren Carey of British Columbia for assault.
It is alleged that just after 2 a.m., the accused engaged in a verbal argument with an adult male known to him. The accused then assaulted the victim by pushing him to the ground and punching him several times.
Police were contacted and the accused was taken into custody. He was charged with one count of assault and was held for bail court.
