Sault man faces theft charges

On Feb. 11 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 27-year-old Tyler Taylor of Lansdowne Road for theft.

It is alleged that around 6 p.m. the accused attended a business in the 600 block of Great Northern Road where he selected $540 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The accused left the area and was soon after located by police.

He was taken into custody and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of probation and one count of breach of undertaking. He was held for bail court.
