On Sept. 17, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 20-year-old Angel Gonzalez Laco of Frontenac Street for impaired driving.
It is alleged that on Sept. 17 at 8:40 a.m., the accused was driving a motor vehicle on Black Road at McNabb Street. The accused went off of the roadway and into the ditch. He then drove out of the ditch and continued down the roadway.
Police were contacted by a witness and officers located the accused soon after on Industrial Court A. Officers developed grounds to believe that the accused was intoxicated and he was placed in custody.
The accused has been charged with one count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He will appear in court on Oct. 23, 2017.
