SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On Jan. 18, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 49-year-old Sheridan Mitchell of Blake Street for assault.
It is alleged that at approximately 10:30 p.m., the accused got into a verbal argument with a male known to him. The argument escalated and the accused assaulted the victim by punching him in the head before leaving the scene.
Mr. Mitchell was located a short time later by officers and taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of assault. He will appear in court on March 5, 2018.
On Jan. 18, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services arrested 66-year-old Jose Lima of Trunk Road for assault.

It is alleged that on the afternoon of Jan. 16, the accused engaged in an argument with a male known to him. The argument escalated and the accused assaulted the victim by grabbing him and pushing him.
Officers arrested the accused on Jan. 18 and he was charged with one count of assault. He will appear in court on March 5, 2018.
