Sault man caught with 'blue, rock-like substance' faces possession charge

Police say the substance turned out to be fentanyl

Police say a man was caught with fentanyl while in police custody.

Sault Police say that on July 16, a 'blue, rock-like substance' was found on the accused.

The substance was submitted for processing, and the accused was released from custody. Results determined that the substance was fentanyl.

On Tuesday, officers arrested Devin Bailey-Jones, 21, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance and breach of probation.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 28, 2020.
