Sault man accused of stealing e-bike

On July 14, 2019 officers with Investigation Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 45-year-old Israel Neveau of Second Line West for theft under $5,000. 

It’s alleged just after midnight on July 14, 2019 the accused stole an e-bike from outside a business in the 0-100 block of Bay Street. Later, officers observed the accused driving the e-bike in the West End of the city. 

The accused was taken into custody and is charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 26, 2019.
