HAMMER AND CONCRETE A customer was removed from Club Princess on Gore Street by the staff last night. He returned with a hammer and attempted to assault the Club's bouncer.

A customer was removed from Club Princess on Gore Street by the staff last night. He returned with a hammer and attempted to assault the Club's bouncer. He was subdued by the staff however, it is alleged that one bouncer assaulted the hammer-wielder with a piece of concrete.

The customer is 39 year-old Michael Sawyer of 35 Manilla Terrace (upper floor). He was slightly injured by the concrete. Sawyer was charged with assault with a weapon and remains in custody. His court date is set for Dec 17.

The bouncer is 21-year-old Ryan Leonard of 235 Hampton Road. He also has been charged with assault with a weapon and has been released for a later court date.

PARTY TIME
Police arrested four 15-year-old males last night for unlawfully entering a vacant home. It appeared they were planning a party but the police crashed it. They have been charged with unlawful entry and possession of a controlled substance (hash oil).
