Police seek suspect in Gore Street assault investigation

Public warned that Berni Nadon is armed and dangerous

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are actively looking for 41-year-old Berni Nadon in connection with a firearm incident that took place in the 100-block of Gore Street on May 29, 2019.

On May 29, 2019 a person known to the suspect attended a residence where the suspect was. At this time it’s alleged Ms. Nadon struck the victim in the face.

The victim was (allegedly) confined inside the residence and assaulted further. At this time its alleged Ms. Nadon pointed a firearm in the face of the victim and threatened to kill them.

The victim was eventually able to flee the area and call police.

Berni Nadon is wanted for the following charges:

  • Assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Forcible confinement
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Threatening death
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Robbery 

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to advise the public to consider Ms. Nadon armed and dangerous. If you see her do not approach her, call 911 immediately.
