Police are looking for information regarding the whereabouts of 29-year-old Zachery Bisaillon who is wanted for attempted murder following an incident that occurred last evening on North Street.
A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that officers respond to an altercation in the 500 block of North Street at approximately 10:24 p.m.
A 55-year-old victim was located and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say this is not a random act of violence as the victim and accused are known to each other.
"If you see the accused, do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous," the release states.
