Jan. 20 update
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to advise that missing person Shawn Wood has been located. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
Jan. 19 original release
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting the publics assistance in locating missing person Shawn Wood from Sault Ste. Marie.
Mr. Wood was last seen on Jan. 17, 2017 at 11:30 p.m. on Second Line West. He has not been heard from since Jan. 18 at 5 a.m.
He is described as a 37-year-old white male, 5’8” tall, 190 lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He may be driving a silver 2005 Mazda Tribute with licence plate number BSSS 171.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Wood is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service immediately.
