On March 28, 2020 officers with Patrol Services and Investigation Services arrested 51-year-old Line Duguay for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

At 12:30 p.m. on March 28, 2020, officers observed a vehicle traveling at walking speed on Farwell Terrace. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed the accused to be unresponsive. The officer was able to get her attention after knocking on the driver's side window.

When the officer asked for identification, the accused had difficulty locating it and placed a baggy with a white powdery substance on the dash. The officer developed grounds to believe her ability to drive was compromised. She was arrested and later refused to comply with the drug recognition evaluation.

A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and located 73.2 grams of cocaine, 14.76 grams of fentanyl, eight oxycodone pills, a digital scale, packaging material, cell phone, $923 in Canadian currency, a knife that opens with centrifugal force, an expandable baton and a can of bear spray.

She is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon, operation while impaired by alcohol or drugs and fail to comply with a demand. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 8, 2020.
