Police recover stolen video games, food items in break and enter investigation

A 37-year-old Sault man was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime

Sault Ste. Marie Police say they've arrested someone possession of property obtained by crime after an incident that took place earlier this week.

In a release issued today, police say they executed a search warrant yesterday at 12:01 p.m. as a result of an investigation into a break and enter in the 0-100 block of Lorna Drive. 

The search warrant, which took place at a different residence, found the accused to be in possession of multiple items reported stolen from the break and enter, including video games and food items.

As a result, Brandon Bennett, 37, was arrested charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.
