Police presence on Wellington

Eight police vehicles were on scene

Eight Sault police vehicles are at the scene of a home in the 100 block of Wellington St. East and Hughes St., including the Sault Police BATT vehicle.

In an email, city police called the presence the execution of a search warrant and remain on scene. 

There is no concern for public safety but police ask the public to avoid the area to allow officers to conclude the investigations.
