On Mar. 15, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 18-year-old Patience Mackinnon, of no fixed address, in relation to a forged prescription.
It is alleged that on Mar. 13, 2017 the accused attended a pharmacy on Great Northern Road and attempted to pass a forged prescription for medications to the pharmacy staff. The forgery was noticed by staff and the accused left the area.
Police located the accused on Mar. 15, 2017 and she was taken into custody.
The accused has been charged with one count of uttering a forged document. She will appear in court on Apr. 24, 2017.
