On May 28, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 53-year-old Frank Caicco of Cooper Street for break and enter.
It is alleged that around 1:30 a.m. the accused entered a building in the 600-block of Goulais Avenue while wearing a mask and in possession of break in tools. A short time later, the accused was located inside of the building by security staff. At that time, he was in possession of an item that had been taken from the building.
When confronted, the accused dropped the item and fled the area. He was apprehended a short distance away by the security staff and police were contacted. Officers attended and the accused was taken into custody.
He has been charged with;
- One count of break and enter
- One count of possession of break in instruments
- One count of wearing a disguise
- One count of mischief
He was held for bail court.
