Police investigate pedestrian collision on Trunk Road

Sault Police are investigating an incident involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle on Trunk Road near the White Pines Collegiate entrance Monday.

Lincoln Louttit, Sault Police corporate communications spokesperson, told SooToday the incident happened at approximately 3:30 p.m Monday.

A male pedestrian, 66, was struck by a vehicle.

The man was taken to Sault Area Hospital, the extent of his injuries unknown at this point.

Louttit said “there were a number of vehicles on scene.” 

No charges have been laid but the incident is under investigation.
