On July 11, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 45-year-old Riahha Maxwell of Pine Street for impaired operation and impaired operation - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
In the early morning hours of July 11, 2019 officers observed a vehicle located off the roadway. The accused approached police and a smell of alcohol was detected.
She provided samples into an approved instrument and registered two readings over the legal limit. She is charged with one count of impaired operation and one count of impaired operation - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
She is scheduled to appear in court on August 19, 2019.
