Police called to pharmacy after staff spots forged prescription

A local woman faces charges as a result

On March 11, 2018, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 24-year-old Reta Wanamker of Sixth Line East for uttering a forged document. 

It is alleged that on March 11, the accused attended a local pharmacy where she attempted to [give] a forged prescription to the staff.  Police were contacted and the accused was taken into custody.

She has been charged with one count of uttering a forged document and she will appear in court on April 16, 2018.
