On March 15, 2019 officers, with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 49-year-old Charles Shaw of no fixed address with assault.
It’s alleged on between March 4 and March 14, 2019 the accused had a number of altercations with a person known to him. It’s alleged the accused assaulted the victim, stole the victim’s phone and threatened to kill the victim.
Police located the accused on March 15, 2019 and he was taken into custody. He is charged with one count of assault, one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of uttering threats. He was held for bail court.
