Passenger involved in collision dies at hospital

SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On March 13, 2018, officers with the Traffic Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Great Northern Road and Northern Avenue.

At that time, an 87-year-old woman who was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. 

Officers have been informed that the woman recently succumbed to her injuries while in the hospital. Our thoughts are with her family.
