Numerous charges laid following laundry facility break-in spree

On Oct. 3, 2019 officers with the Crime Suppression Unit arrested 21-year-old Jacques Roy of Boston Avenue for break and enter.

It’s alleged between Sept. 10 and Oct. 3, 2019 the accused entered or attempted to enter a number of buildings across the city. When he gained entry, it’s further alleged he damaged laundry machines and took an undisclosed amount of money out of them.

He was arrested on Oct. 3, 2019. He is charged with the following:
    •    Mischief under $5,000 x7
    •    Theft under $5,000 x6
    •    Break and enter x6
    •    Possession of break-in tools x6
    •    Possession of coin operated device break in tools x6
    •    Disguise with intent x2

He was held for bail court.
