Name of fourth person charged in drug bust released

A fourth person has been charged with narcotic-trafficking offences after a Wednesday-night drug bust on Grace Street

Late Thursday afternoon, Sault Ste. Marie Police released the name of a fourth person charged in a drug bust on Grace Street.

As reported earlier by SooToday, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit, Crime Suppression Unit and Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant on a Grace Street residence on Aug. 24 at 8:40 p.m.

Located and seized in the search was a quantity of heroin and cocaine along with paraphernalia constant with the trafficking of narcotics.

Three females and one male were located in the house and have been charged in relation to the investigation with drug-trafficking related offences.

The fourth person to be charged in that investigation is 25-year old Andrew Petts of Grace Street.

He appeared in bail court on two counts of possession of a controlled drug for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of recognizance.
