ACCIDENT SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL
On Saturday, police were called to a collision at North Street and Morrison Avenue. It was determined that a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, operated by 32-year-old Debbie Romano of Pine Street, had been southbound on North Street when it collided with a 1986 Toyota Tercel operated by 36-year-old Glenda Bussineau of Northland Road.

The Toyota had been westbound on Morrison Avenue. Romano was taken to hospital for treatment of what are described as minor injuries. Both vehicles received severe damage. Bussineau was issued a summons for failing to yield.


POLICE WEEK STARTS TODAY
The Sault Police Service is pleased to announce that it will again be participating in the annual Police Week celebrations from today until Friday. This years theme is "Standing Proud. Careers in Policing."

Police will be hosting displays in the Station Mall from 9:00 a.m. on May 15 until 9:00 p.m. on May 17. There will be over 50 exhibitors from various police and supporting agencies. Opening
