City police are investigating four break and enters that took place over the weekend. In the early morning hours of Saturday, four males entered a residence in the 100 block of Andrew Street.
City police are investigating four break and enters that took place over the weekend.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, four males entered a residence in the 100 block of Andrew Street. They assaulted the tenant and stole a quantity of electronic equipment. The victim was treated for cuts and bruises at hospital. Police are looking for two adults and two young offenders. The victim knows the suspects.

On Saturday night police were called to the 100 block of Willoughby Street. It does not appear anything was taken. Thieves entered the residence by forcing the bathroom window.

A third entry was reported in the 300 block of Wilson Street. Thieves pried open a rear door to gain entry. A quantity of jewellery as well as some stereo and electronic equipment was stolen.

The fourth entry was at a residence in the 200 block of East Balfour. No details are available as yet. The break and enter occurred on Sunday between 1 and 6pm.
