On February 5, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 46-year-old Donald Cory of West Street for a theft.

On Feb. 4, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 58-year-old Jean Paul Leonard of Elliot Lake in relation to a theft from a local business.

It is alleged that on Feb. 4 the accused entered a store on Great Northern Road, selected a jacket with a value of $149.93 and put it on. The accused then left the store without paying for the item and was apprehended by store security.

Police were contacted and the accused was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.  He will appear in court on Mar. 13, 2017.

On Feb. 5, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 46-year-old Donald Cory of West Street for a theft.

It is alleged that on Jan. 29, 2017 the accused entered a grocery store in the West End of the city and filled a shopping cart with approximately $400 worth of merchandise. The accused left the store without paying for the items and police were contacted.

The accused was located by police on February 5th and has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000. He will appear in court on Mar. 20, 2017.
