City police responded to 18 traffic accidents over the past 24 hours. No one was sent to hospital. Police remind you to adjust to the winter driving conditions.

Two more persons were charged with assault causing bodily harm in an incident that occurred last Friday, Dec. 28. Reports indicate that the people involved were drinking together at a residence when an argument occurred. When the victim attempted to leave with the liquor he brought, he was assaulted. He was transported to hospital where he was treated for a swollen lip and face and concussion. He was then released.

Charged with assault causing bodily harm are Craig Joseph Lecuyer, age 22, of 172 East Balfour Street and Jessy Cassandra Lavoie, age 19, of 171 Gore Street. Both have been released and are to appear in court on Feb 4.
