At 6:50 p.m. on August 21, 2016 city police arrested 46-year-old Stephen Hilb of Goulais Avenue. Hilb turned himself in regarding outstanding arrest warrants.

At 6:50 p.m. on August 21, 2016 city police arrested 46-year-old Stephen Hilb of Goulais Avenue. Hilb turned himself in regarding outstanding arrest warrants. It’s alleged that the accused failed to show up for an earlier court date back in July. He has been charged with failing to attend court and will be appearing in court on September 26 to answer to the charge.

At 8 p.m. on August 21, 2016 city police were called to the 700 block of Wellington Street East regarding a male passed out on the grass. When police arrived they identified him as a male wanted for stealing merchandise from the Mac's Mart on Gore Street on Aug. 14, 2016. The 44-year-old male was also discovered to be on a court recognizance of bail with a condition that he not drink alcohol. The male was arrested and will be charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of recognizance. He will be appearing in bail court on August 22, 2016 at 10 a.m.
