Man facing charges following break and enter

On April 16, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 37-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie for break and enter.

It is alleged that just after 1:30 a.m. on April 16, 2018 the accused attended the residence of his girlfriend and kicked the door causing it to break off of the frame. The victim was home at the time and confronted the accused.  The victim contacted police and the accused left the area.  As the accused left the area he made comments causing the victim to fear for her safety.

Officers located the accused soon after and he was taken into custody.  He has been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of criminal harassment.  He was held for bail court.
