On Jan. 19, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 50-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that the accused engaged in an argument with his ex-girlfriend on Jan. 19, 2018. The argument escalated and the accused caused damage to some of the victim’s property and then assaulted her by throwing a coffee on her.
Officers located the accused a short time later and he was placed in custody. He has been charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief. He will appear in court on Mar. 14, 2018.
