SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On March 18, 2018, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 30-year-old male as a result of a domestic violence investigation.
It is alleged that between June of 2012 and Dec. of 2017 the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend on four separate occasions and threatened to kill her on one occasion.
The accused was located by police on March 18 and was taken into custody.
He has been charged with four counts of assault and one count of threatening. He was held for W.A.S.H court.
