On Nov. 27, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Break and Enter Unit arrested 33-year-old Ryan Elliot of Wellington Street East for a break and enter.
It is alleged that on Nov. 23, the accused and another male drove to a business in the 900 block of McNabb Street in a stolen motor vehicle. The two males then broke into the compound of that business and took a large amount of copper wire.
Officers located the accused on Nov. 27 and he was placed in custody. He has been charged with;
- One count of break and enter
- One count of breach of undertaking
- One count of breach of probation, and;
- One count of occupying a motor vehicle without consent
He was held for bail court.
