After receiving a call from a business owner in the 200 block of Queen Street West, Sault Ste. Marie police launched an investigation into the forced entry of the building along with an unnamed amount of missing cash.
On Feb. 21, Patrol Services arrested a suspect in the 300 block of John Street, a news release said.
Jordan Wiles, 32, faces the following charges:
- break-and-entering with intent
- theft under $5,000
- mischief
- fail to comply with undertaking
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
