Man attempts to pawn child's bicycle

Two face charges of theft and possession of stolen property

On Sept. 9, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21-year-old Jacques Roy and 33-year-old Ewen Crack both of Boston Avenue for theft under $5,000. 

It’s alleged on Aug. 20, 2019 the two accused entered a shed in the central part of the city and stole a three-wheeled ATV and a children’s bicycle. Mr. Roy attempted to pawn the bicycle on Aug. 20, 2019. Police later located the ATV on Boston Avenue. 

The two accused were located on Sept. 9, 2019. Mr. Roy is charged with one count of break and enter, two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property.

Mr. Crack is charged with one count of theft under $5,000. Both were held for bail court.
