Man accused of trying to leave a store with over $200 of merchandise not paid for

On June 5, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 23-year-old Aaron Kerr for theft under $5,000.

It is alleged the accused attended a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street selected gloves, shoes, a hat, a hoodie and a knife and attempted to leave without paying for them. The total estimated value of the items is $201.03.

The accused was detained by store security and held for police. Upon police arrival, he was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24, 2020.
