Sault Ste. Marie Police have arrested a man for pointing a firearm after an incident that took place last week, they said in a release issued today.
Police say that on Friday, the accused allegedly pointed a firearm at someone while threatening them. It is also alleged that the accused damaged a window and slashed a tire on the victim's vehicle.
Police say the accused and the victim are known to each other.
Police found the accused yesterday, and as a result, Michael Dellapenta, 28, was arrested and charged with pointing a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, uttering threats, and mischief under $5,000.
He was held for WASH court.
