Man accused of threatening people with a weapon - twice

Police say he entered a business in the 0-100 block of Bay Street, threatened staff and left two times in one day

On July 26, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 29-year-old Andrew Flood of no fixed address for assault with a weapon.

It’s alleged on July 20, 2019 the accused entered a business in the 0-100 block of Bay Street on two occasions and threatened staff with a weapon and left the area.

He was located on July 26, 2019 and taken into custody. He is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of uttering threats. He was held for bail court.
