Man accused of pointing a firearm at someone sitting in their vehicle

The 23-year-old now faces weapons and robbery charges

A Windsor man has been accused of pointing a weapon at someone sitting in their vehicle, police say.

Sault Police say a victim called to report that a man wearing a mask approached their vehicle, which was in the 100 block of Churchill Blvd., while they were in it and pointed a firearm in their direction.

The victim was able to flee the area safely.

Police say the accused was in custody on a previous charge when officers arrested him.

As a result, Jessy Geneau-Ollette, 23, was arrested and charged with use of a firearm or imitation in the commission of an offence, pointing a firearm, 

possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, attempted robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to an order and wearing a disguise.

He was held for bail court.
