On Oct. 30, 2019 officers with the Investigation Services Unit arrested 38-year-old Eugene Dubois of Blake Avenue for luring.
It’s alleged on multiple occasions in July 2019, the accused used an online application to contact an underage girl for a sexual purpose.
Just before noon on Oct. 30, 2019, officers executed a search warrant on the accused’s residence. The accused was at his residence and he was arrested. During a subsequent search, officers seized his electronic devices and located a handheld crossbow, which is a prohibited weapon.
He is charged with one count of luring, one count of sexual interference, one count of invitation to sexual touching and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon. He was held for bail court.
