On the 18th of January officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 28 year old Kristopher Running of Fort Creek Drive for theft from a local department store.
It is alleged that on Jan. 18, the accused entered a department store on Great Northern Road, selected $159.56 worth of merchandise and left without paying for the items. The accused was apprehended by store security and police were contacted.
The accused was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and he will appear in court on Jan. 27, 2017.
