Heyden man caught with wallets that were not his, police say

Officers have reported that they recognized the accused as being wanted for breach of probation

On Oct. 2, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service charged 21-year-old Christien Tucci of Heyden with possession of stolen property. 

Around 4:00 a.m. on Oct. 2, 2019 officers observed the accused in the east end of the city. Officers knew him to be wanted for breach of probation. Police arrested him on the strength of the warrant. During a subsequent search of the accused, he was found to be in possession of two wallets with identification that wasn’t his. 

He is charged with two counts of stolen property, one count of theft under $5,000 and four counts of breach of probation. He was held for bail court.
