Police say the situation was resolved peacefully and no charges have been laid.

There's currently a heavy police presence on Wellington Street East at McCrea Street as officers appear to have the area contained.
McCrea is completely closed to traffic, as is Lake Street.
Lincoln Louttit with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service told SooToday it is "an ongoing situation."
