GARDEN RIVER - The Anishinabek Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in regards to a suspicious person incident.
On the 13th of August 2019, an unknown male attended a residence in the 400 block area of Highway 17B on the Garden River First Nation. The unknown male knocked on the door and asked the homeowner to admit him into the home. When the homeowner refused, he grabbed an article of clothing and fled prior to police arrival.
The suspicious person is described as a white male with short hair.
The incident is under investigation by the Garden River Detachment. The public is asked to report any suspicious person(s) to police.
