ARMED ROBBERY LAST NIGHT
City police were called to the Caswell Motor Inn on Trunk Road this morning at 1:45 regarding a robbery. The clerk had left the counter area temporarily and upon returning found two males dipping into the till.

Upon being discovered, one of the males pulled out a knife and told the clerk to lie on the floor. After removing the cash from the till the two left the lobby and headed on foot around the south side of the building. The investigation is continuing.

MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTACKING WOMAN WITH ICE PICK
Detectives arrested 24-year-old Len Forsythe of 277 Northern Avenue, East last evening in connection with an incident that occurred on October 30. It is alleged that Forsythe forced his way into an Allard Street apartment brandishing an ice pick and threatening two occupants of the home.

A struggle ensued between one of the occupants, a 21 year-old female and Forsythe resulting in minor injuries to the victim. It is further alleged that Forsyth caused damage to the
