LIZARD ON THE LOOSE City police officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Kingsford Road. A pet lizard got loose around 1:00 p.m. and was at large. The lizard is 2 ½ feet long and greenish yellow in colour.

City police officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Kingsford Road. A pet lizard got loose around 1:00 p.m. and was at large. The lizard is 2 ½ feet long and greenish yellow in colour. It is a meat eater and may bite. If you see the lizard, please stay away from it and call police or the Humane Society.

STOLEN CAR RECOVERED
At 4:06 yesterday, patrol officers observed a 91 Dodge Shadow stop at a private residence in the 100 block of MacDonald Avenue. The car belongs to a Milton, Ontario, resident and had been stolen from a local hotel overnight.

Arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and possession of break-and-enter tools are Alexander Currie, age 22, of 29 Maple Street and Shawn Wysynski, age 22, of 15 Albion Street. Wysynski also faces an additional charge of theft. Both will appear in court today.
