On Feb. 7 at approximately 10:10 p.m. a motor vehicle collision occurred on Wallace Terrace and Glasgow Avenue. A 1998 black Toyota operated by 23-year-old Julie Ann Martin of Roth Road in Goulais River was westbound on Wallace Terrace and attempted to make a u-turn when it collided with a second westbound vehicle. The second vehicle was a 1992 Mercury Topaz operated by 37-year-old Lynn Hillstrom of Walls Road. Both vehicles were demolished in the collision. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment of what are described as minor injuries. Julie Ann Martin was charged with making an unsafe turn.
