BREAK AND ENTERS Three separate break and enters were reported to police yesterday. The first was in the 200 block of Northern Avenue reported at 11:00 last night. The second was in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue.

Three separate break and enters were reported to police yesterday. The first was in the 200 block of Northern Avenue reported at 11:00 last night.

The second was in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue. A male attempted to enter a home while the resident was there. He was frightened off and was last seen going north through the Rosedale Schoolyard. He is described as being a white male, about 40 years of age, 5 foot 11 inches in height, with gray hair and a beard. He was wearing a yellow hat and a beige jacket. If you have any information, please call city police.

The third break-in was in the 400 block of River Road. This was the third entry to this home in three days. Thieve(s) entered by forcing a door. A small quantity of gold and a small coin collection were taken. City police are increasing their patrols in this area.

LOW-SPEED CHASE
At about 4:25 a.m. today police arrested James Ewart, age 25, of 760 Wellington East, front apartment. It is alleged Ewart stole a vehicle
