Four arrested, $6K worth of suspected narcotics seized at traffic stop

All four occupants face drug trafficking charges

On April 7, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Anna Chakasim, 42-year-old Donald Collings, 28-year-old Brandon Rowat and 36-year-old Sara Rowlinson for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

On April 7, 2020 at 4:24 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Pine Street as the vehicle Ms. Rowlinson was driving had an expired validation tag. Ms. Chakasim, Mr. Collings and Mr. Rowat were passengers in the vehicle.

At that time the driver, Ms. Rowlinson, went to exit the vehicle. She was asked to return to the vehicle and officers observed what is believed to be a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

All four occupants were arrested. A subsequent search of the occupants and the vehicle found a variety of substances believed to be narcotics. Among the items found were 33 grams of cocaine, 23.4 grams of methamphetamine, 1.2 grams of fentanyl, three Ritalin pills, 218 grams of cannabis, packaging material and a scale. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized is $6,150

Ms. Chakasim is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 15, 2020.

Mr. Collings is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 15, 2020.

Mr. Rowat is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing fail to attend court and breach of probation. He was held for bail court.

Ms. Rowlinson is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 15, 2020.
