Fifth suspect charged with attempted murder following James Street incident

On May 21, 2019 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 31-year-old Amanda Neyland of Albert Street West for attempted murder.

As part of the ongoing investigation into an incident that took place in the 100 block of James Street on May 16, 2019 police located the accused on May 21, 2019 and took her into custody.

She is charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of weapons dangerous, one count of unlawfully in a dwelling and one count of breach of probation.

She was held for bail court.
