Sault Ste. Marie Police, Fire Services and Emergency Medical Services responded to a call at Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre early Sunday afternoon.
City police say there was a disturbance involving multiple inmates inside the facility.
The incident has since been resolved.
Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating.
