Late Thursday afternoon witnesses reported a woman walking around on top the crane at Algoma Steel Inc.'s Projects and Construction building on Conmee Avenue.
Sault Ste. Marie police, EMS and fire services attended the scene.
A Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services ladder truck was used to reach the woman and she was assisted safely down off the crane.
